    This document contains the terms and conditions that govern the website www.uniform-shoes.com.

    Navigating our website implies acceptance of all the provisions contained in this document. The same applies for all purchases of products made through the website, which are governed by these general terms and other instructions for use contained on the site.

    All customers are therefore invited to carefully read these general conditions.

    The website www.uniform-shoes.com is the property of COOL GRAY Lda with headquarters at Av. Ferreira de Castro 1220, 3720-024 Oliveira de Azeméis, Portugal, N.C. 504 549 057.

    UNIFORM-SHOES® hereby declares to have the right to modify any content of the website such as prices and photos, or any other, at any time, without prior notice and at its sole discretion. Any modification made will come into force on the date of its publication.

    The terms and conditions regulate the relationships between UNIFORM-SHOES® and the customer, in what refers to the purchases of products sold by COOL GRAY lda such as footwear, accessories and apparel via www.uniform-shoes.com.

  • Orders

    To order at unifom-shoes.com it is necessary that the user has an e-mail account and that his browser is configured to accept cookies and pop-ups, in order to allow you to enjoy all the browsability conditions of the online store Uniform Shoes.

    Placing an order at the Unif-shoes.com Online Store is easy:

    • Find the products you want to purchase;
    • Add products to the Cart;
    • Finalize the purchase;
    • Select the payment option;
      • Review your order;
      • Make the payment and confirm the order;
      • You will receive an order confirmation by email;
      • Your order is confirmed when you select the “Confirm Payment” (Checkout) button at the end of the purchase process.

    An order confirmation email is sent to your email. We suggest that you print it out or download this copy for future reference.

    We retain the right not to accept your order, or cancel it even after automatic confirmation of your order.

    By submitting the order form you are accepting the terms and conditions of purchase, as well as other conditions existing at uniform-shoes.com, through links, including the general terms and conditions of use.

    Placing an order does not mean a stock reservation by Uniform-shoes, the stock reservation happens automatically, but only when Uniform-shoes receives confirmation of payment.

    Uniform-Shoes reserves the right not to process orders that do not have a sufficient guarantee of payment; when orders are incomplete or incorrect.

    Even if there is a stock reservation with payment confirmation, in some situations, such as inventory differences, defects detected at the time of ordering, among others, it may make it impossible for Uniform-Shoes to fulfill the order placed by the customer. In these cases, Uniform Shoes will contact the customer in a normal period of 1 to 3 business days, but longer than 15 business days, that the order could not be processed, serving this email as formal communication that the sale contract was not be concluded and that the seller did not proceed with the sale, mentioning or not the reason for that.

    In the referred cases, Uniform-Shoes will inform the client of the options available, that depending on the case and the desire of the client might be to wait for new stock, exchange the product for another or request a refund of the amount paid to Uniform Shoes in a form of a voucher or through the same method of payment, the refund is processed by Uniform-Shoes within a normal period of 2 to 3 days, but no more than 30 business days depending on the method of payment and the country of origin.

    The confirmation of the order entry does not constitute a purchase contract, its sole purpose is to serve as proof that the order was received by UNIFORM-SHOES®.

  • Prices

    All prices quoted on the website include V.A.T., at the statutory rate in force in the country of origin (Portugal), to Portugal and the European Union. Except for the prices shown in the enterprise reserved area, that present the prices without VAT.

    The access to the reserved area is granted by the commercial team of Uniform-Shoes at is sole discretion, this access and conditions can be revoked at anytime at Uniform-shoes without justification.

    The prices presented on the website do not include additional taxes, duties or charges regulated by any other applicable legislation rather than the Portuguese and European. If necessary, as for example for orders to be delivered outside the European Union, the customer must therefore calculate and pay for import customs duties and process costs, taxes and fees that may occur in the importing country.

    Uniform-Shoes will not support any costs with the return of orders by the reason of lack of payment of import costs that are not included in the price, and which are of sole responsibility of the client.

    Shipping fees are applied per order. The exact price of the shipping fee depends on where your order is to be delivered. For additional information on shipping fees by country please simulate the check our of you shopping cart, or contact our customer service through the email cs@uniform-shoes.com.

    All prices are quoted in euros. Please note that changing the country of delivery may influence prices due to shipping costs.

    The total price specified in the final checkout menu includes local taxes and shipping costs. Prices are quoted at the time of order confirmation, which you can print or download for future use. Please pay only the exact amount specified in the order confirmation and make individual payments per order.

    The prices of the products presented on the site are subject to change. Uniform-Shoes reserves the right to change prices without prior notice. The prices shown at the time of purchase are the prices applied to that purchase.

    Please note that even though the website is updated with extreme care, the price information on the website may contain errors. Uniform-Shoes is not bound to the offer and reserves the right to cancel your order should such an error occur.

  • Promotional codes

    When used according to the rules, a promotional code entitles the user to take advantage of a promotion/discount relating to the purchase of a specific product or for a set of products, during the period indicated/associated with the promotional code/promotional campaign.

    The promotional codes can only be used in online purchases made on the site www.uniform-shoes.com. The sale, exchange or donation of a promotional code is not allowed. Any customer who has a promotional code may not upload it or make it available on any website or other public form of offer, donation, sale or exchange. Promotional codes cannot be used for commercial purposes.

    The promotional code is connected with the Uniform-Shoes brand. Promotional codes cannot be used in connection with another brand, company or name. It is also not permitted to use the promotional code in an illegal, abusive or disrespectful manner, nor any other way that could damage Uniform-Shoes's reputation.

    The use of the promotional code is limited to one use per product and order only. Promotional codes cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions or special offers.

    Promotional codes cannot be exchanged for cash.

    Uniform-Shoes has no obligation to re-issue or return promotional codes. However, if Uniform-Shoes decides to re-issue or refund a promotional code, it needs to have access to the initial promotional code. You must, therefore, keep a copy of your promotional code, otherwise, it cannot be re-issued or replaced in case of loss.

    In cases where Uniform-Shoes re-issues/refunds the promotional code, the discount of this amount may only be applied to a purchase for an amount equal to or greater than the purchase in which the discount/promotional code was issued.

    Notwithstanding any other rights, Uniform-Shoes has the right to immediately invalidate the promotional code if it has reason to suspect that a promotional code is being used in breach of the above-mentioned assumptions, by usurpation or in other cases where Uniform-Shoes has reason to do so.

  • Payments

    When customer access the sales service, it is imperative to have the necessary conditions for concluding legally binding contracts in accordance with Portuguese and Community Law. Such as the legal age to do it, have in its possession a valid email address and a bank account with access to at least one of the following payment methods: MB, MB Way, credit cards Visa or MasterCard, Carte Bancaire or SOFORT which can be operated by SIBS, PAYPAL or AYDEN. Payment methods, brokers, operators, and financial institutions may vary from market to market, you can find the available payment methods in the site's Help/FAQs section.

    If you choose to pay by ATM Reference, we begin processing your order once we have received payment. That could take several days. If we have not received any payment three calendar days after the order was placed, Uniform-Shoes is entitled to cancel the order.

    We do not accept any other payment methods than those mentioned. Please do not attempt to pay by any means other than those specified. If you do, we cannot be held liable for the loss of payment or any other damage that may result.

    Payments can only be processed if the information to be used for invoicing can be checked.

    All payments are unique and processed immediately, there is no subscription model, but depending on the country of origin and payment method used it might take a few days until COOL GRAY has the payment confirmation.

    To carry out an order it is required for the customer to fill in all the required data and accept the terms and conditions. Up to the time of completion of the order, the customer can change all the data associated with your request at any time.

    In the case of Credit Card payment, all details (e.g. card number or expiry date) will be sent by encrypted protocol to the company providing the remote electronic payment services, without third parties being able to access the information.

    This information will not be used by UNIFORM-SHOES except to carry out the procedures needed for the purchase or charge back, in case of a return, as per the exercise of the right of return or for reporting fraud cases to the police.

  • Safety

    The Uniform-Shoes.com store uses one of the most robust security technologies among the encryption platforms available.

    Your payment information is encrypted from the moment you enter until your transaction is processed and is not stored on a public server. Although we use encryption software, the security of information and payments transmitted over the Internet or via email cannot be guaranteed.

    Uniform-Shoes shall not be liable for any damages suffered as a result of the use of electronic means of communication including, but not limited to, recurring damages from failures or delays in the delivery of electronic communications, interception or manipulation of electronic communications by third parties or by computer programs used for communications or virus transmissions.

  • Shipping

    We deliver the products Monday to Friday between 9 am and 6 pm. We do not ship on certain holidays. We can only deliver an order if the delivery address is a home or office located in one of the countries mentioned in the list of countries available in the Delivery menu.

    You must ensure that someone is at the address to receive the order. This service does not include a scheduling or appointment option, so the delivery of the order will be made without prior contact by the carrier. We do not guarantee this delivery period in periods of promotions, sales, Christmas, periods of epidemic or if we are out of stock.

    A delivery is considered to have been made or a product is considered to have been delivered with the signature of the delivery receipt at the agreed address.

    The delivery time is counted as follows, if Uniform-Shoes receives the confirmation of payment before 12h AM GMT, the day the order was paid counts as the first day of the announced delivery time in the checkout. If the payment confirmation is received after 12h AM GMT, the first day which counts for the delivery date is the day after the payment have been confirmed by the bank.

    Whenever possible we try to deliver everything in one shipment. However, we reserve the right to split the delivery of the order, for example (but not limited to) if a part of the order is late or not available. If we split the order, the customer will be notified by email of our intention to do so. The email address the customer provided at the time of purchase will be used for this purpose.

    The customer must inspect the packaging for possible damage when it is delivered. If the customer finds that the products are damaged, they must not accept the delivery of the order, which will be returned. Uniform-Shoes will refund the amounts paid for the order and transport as soon as the warehouse receives the items and completes the return process.

    Any claim for non-receipt of the order must be made within a maximum of 30 days from the date the order was placed. After this period, Uniform-Shoes cannot be held responsible for the loss of the order.

    The delivery terms vary according to the market and the option selected by the client, being all the information available in the checkout phase according to the delivery address supplied by the client.

    The delivery times presented on the website, can be presented in hours or in days, should always be considered business hours or days, excluding from the calculation’s weekends and holydays.

  • Returns

    UNIFORM-SHOES® wants that each and every client to be satisfied when purchasing one of its products but, it the case the product doesn’t meet expectations we will do our best to help proceed with the return, wherever the product was bought either in www.uniform-shoes.com or in any other point of sale. But the place where the product was bought influences the return process.

    If the product was bought at www.uniform-shoes.com the client has 100 days to return the products.

    In case of products bought in another online shop or in a physical point of sale, the customer should contact the store directly.

    Customers can cancel their order as long as it has not yet been shipped. If you place an order and want to cancel it you should contact our Customer Service and request the cancellation of your order, through the email address cs@uniform-shoes.com

    If the cancellation request is successful, you will be notified by email of this decision and the cancellation will be processed at no cost. If the cancellation request is not possible, the products will be sent to the customer who, if they still want to cancel the order, must refuse to receive them. The products will be returned and, upon receipt, the cancellation will be processed.

    Customers have the right to return delivered products if they are defective or otherwise do not conform to the products that were ordered. The return can be made within 100 days after receipt of the order. This does not affect your statutory rights. If your complaint is justified, the price and shipping costs will be refunded. For more information on how to return and chargeback information, please refer to the Help/FAQs menu on the website.

    In any case you if for any reason you are not satisfied with the products you ordered you can return them within 100 calendar days of receipt, provided that, the products show no signs of use; and the product is unaltered, and the packaging is not damaged (carefully opened packaging will not be considered damaged), In these cases we do not refund the shipping costs;

    Não pode devolver produtos que tenham sido adulterados ou utilizados. In markets where uniform-shoes assumes the costs of returns, Uniform-Shoes is only responsible for the costs of one return per order. If you bought more than one item, and you are not happy with more than one item, you should return the products you want all at once. If you do not do this you will still have 100 days to return the product, but the return costs will be the responsibility of the customer.

    It is currently not possible for a person who has received a product as a present from another person to return it. In this case, to proceed with the return you must contact the person who bought it, so that they can return it, according to the Return Conditions.

    To exchange one item for color or sizes, please follow the steps in the FAQs for Returns.

    Refunds will be made based on the payment method. If the customer makes the payment by ATM reference, the customer must give their bank details to our Customer Support when they start the return process. This information is necessary so that we can proceed with the refund of the money to your account. The customer will receive a refund after the product(s) have been returned and processed.

    For additional information on the return process and refund times, please refer to the Help/FAQ section of the website. Please read the help instructions in that section and follow the instructions carefully to avoid unnecessary delays.

    Uniform-Shoes does not accept responsibility for the payment, during a return process, of any additional taxes, duties or charges regulated by any other applicable legislation rather than the Portuguese and European. If necessary, as for example outside the European Union, the customer must therefore provide for import or export customs duties, pay taxes and fees that may occur in the importing country.

  • Responsibility

    Uniform-Shoes shall only be liable for damages suffered by the Customer if such damages result from violations of Uniform-Shoes's contractual obligations towards the Customer, or if Uniform-Shoes 's liability results from the applicable legal law.

    If the Customer has suffered damages related to the website activity, Uniform-Shoes's liability shall be limited to:

    Damage to Uniform-Shoes products or other materials;

    Reasonable and demonstrable costs incurred by the customer to find the cause and the amount of compensation attributable to the damage;

    The maximum reimbursement of the above-mentioned compensation shall be (if applicable) the price of the products concerned.

    Uniform-Shoes shall not be liable for damages suffered by third parties resulting from the use of any of our products. Uniform-Shoes shall not be liable for damages suffered by the customer as a result of the improper use of our products.

    Uniform-Shoes shall not be liable for damages that are the result of incorrect information on the website.

    If a Customer suffers damages that are the result of gross negligence or willful misconduct on the part of Uniform-Shoes, none of the limitations in this article shall apply.

  • Other information

    The pictures presented on the website are the only way of representation of products and, UNIFORM-SHOES® does not guarantee the exact match of the images to the products. For example, the colors may appear differently on different computer screens.

    All orders placed on the site are subject to availability. Uniform-Shoes tries to ensure that all items offered for sale on the site are in stock. However, Uniform-Shoes reserves the right not to accept any orders or cancel orders already confirmed for products that are no longer in stock. In such cases, Uniform-Shoes will inform the customer of this fact and refund the amount paid.

    Website offers are valid only for the time they are displayed on the website unless otherwise stated. Uniform-Shoes is not bound by any offer if there are errors or misspellings, wrong prices or other errors in the information on the website. Uniform-Shoes reserves the right to cancel any purchase and sale made under such errors.

    Uniform-Shoes has the right to change these Terms & Conditions at any time. The user is subject to the principles and the Terms & Conditions in force when the order is placed, except if the law or competent authority imposes any alteration to them.

    Although Uniform-Shoes works with great care on its website, the information, text, graphics, films, music and/or other services may contain errors or be incomplete or incorrect.

    Uniform-Shoes shall not be liable for any damages resulting from the use (or inability to use) the website, including damage caused by viruses or any inaccuracy or imperfection of the information, unless such damage is the result of wilful misconduct or negligence on the part of Uniform-Shoes.

    All brand names, product names and titles used on the site are trademarks or registered names of Uniform-Shoes or registered trademarks and registered names of other holders.

    The user/customer of the site is not authorised to use or reproduce any such trademarks or registered names as this constitutes a violation of the titleholder's rights.

    Everything concerning the design, text, documents, films, music and/or other services of the site, the selection and organisation of the site, as well as all software compilation (including applets) and all other materials on the site, are the property of Uniform-Shoes and its suppliers.

    Users/customers are only authorised to electronically copy and print portions of the site if this is necessary to place an order on the site or to use the site as a source for purchase.

    Users/customers are not authorised to make any other use of the site or the information and materials contained therein, including reproduction for purposes other than those stated above, modification, distribution, or republication.

  • Clients & Disputes

    Clients who are considered as consumers in accordance with the Alternative Dispute Resolution (Law 144/2015) and that had celebrated purchase/sale contracts and/or service contracts have the right to resort to official entities for assistance in the event of a dispute arising from the supply of goods and services, without prejudice to having recourse to the Judicial Courts.
